Benefit Concert for Corey Beierbach of The Straight Jackets and the Margery E. Yuill Cancer Centre in Medicine Hat

The Hat Rocks Cancer is a private charitable concert bringing together local musical talent in an indoor theatre atmosphere to raise funds benefiting our official partner, the Margery E. Yuill Cancer Centre in Medicine Hat, along with local music and long time Medicine Hat Rocker, Corey Beierbach – who has recently been diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, a rare form of Brain Cancer. Several of Medicine Hat’s established veteran performers unite to provide an evening full of live music to fund Corey’s battle with Cancer and to support the local Margery E. Yuill Cancer Centre. 

Over 500 guests are expected to fill The Esplanade Theatre in downtown Medicine Hat to witness tribute performances by Mahoney, Phoenix, Taking August, Alter Ego, 3 Hole Punch, Warehouse Cats, KMAGYOYO, blurryisenough, Blind Monday, Age Gap, Grunge Stars, Shoulder of the Hunter, Snakes & the Riot and The Straight Jackets in support of this hyper local fundraising initiative. There will be a silent auction on site with incredible prizes from some great local businesses. 

ALL proceeds from THIS WEBSITE will be directed to the Margery E. Yuill Cancer Centre in Corey Beierbach's honour. This facility is located within the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital and offers healthcare services for people with cancer.

Together we will make a difference for Albertans facing cancer.
